Interesting to think that there is going to be an ask to volunteer to separate next time. Don’t count on it. And the only thing I can say on this subject is business as usual for CC. Oh someone knows how things are supposed to be done and they are challenging. All the people who don’t know anything tell that person to be quit and go away. For the simple fear that they will be asked to work.

In reference to the comment about the IG not finding cause, this is common. An IG can only resolve based on provided evidence. The lawsuit, if you read the actual documentation, indicates the judge's ruling that the issue can go forward to civilly litigate. The IG has an option to pick the issue up for possible criminal referral.

They are still not DFARS compliant. They are not CMMC compliant either. Sales has been chasing their tail trying to get compliant due to the government contra ts all requiting audits bythe KO to verify compliance in order to renew the contracts under the Biden Administration's cyber regulations, but Crown just laid off the person that was working with saled on it with the RIF and in my opinion a SME on the subject. They did keep a person to do it, but she is not nearly as smart as the other one was. We have been put on hold with her because she is too busy. When we do talk to her she knows nothing and will get with her bosses and get back to us. The other onewould actually answer us and help us. The person they kept is "faking it until they make it." I expect contract losses due to DFARS and CMMC which will only make us in fiber sales look bad. I still do not understand why they let go the person that was really helping us to keep someone that can't. Oh wait, they wanted to save a dollar now to lose millions later.
