This has to be by far one of the most stupid ideas ever devised for retail in general. All it does is anger the customer and puts to much expectation on the store to make sure the onnhand is exactly right.
We do not possess super powers. We cannot keep track of everything to a tee.
All retail companies need to rid their online of supposed on hands.

I'd like to see a metric showing the number of dogs on hand so I know when to avoid the store.
My stores inventory just in outside lawn and garden was such a disaster. How can they possibly expect to make this work?
And when it is brought to someone’s attention. The replies are basically “oh well”
