We had a great next up CEO with Joe Hinrichs, but they ran him off and put this id--t in charge! Our beloved company is headed for bankruptcy unless we get competent leadership soon!

Can the Ford Family select leadership to save Ford? Look at the last 24 years, six CEOs, five were failures, 83.3% failure rate. In case you think it is only an automotive issue. The Family use the same decision-making skills to manage the Detroit Lions. The Lion’s last playoff win was 1991 and they have never been to the Super Bowl, NEVER. The same Family that runs the Lions run Ford Motor Company. The Ford Family has no idea how to pick leaders, or how to win. To save Ford Motor Company the Family needs to sell Ford and go play with their little train station.
DF is a 🤡. Sells a lot of hot air. Accomplishes very little. Understands very little.
It is not hard to find CEO material. Doug Field is already working for the company in a leadership role. Hint. Hint.
Unless Ford’s next CEO has engineering background it is toast. Another finance/MBA/markeying guy isn’t gonna cut it, the company is in the ditch about to go into a de@th roll.
$5 says Ted Cannis will be the new CEO within 18 months. He's done an interesting job at FordPro, and looks like he just got handed FCSD, which are the two most profitable areas of the company...
BF did hire Alan Mulally, but that seems to be the exception in his track record on hiring CEOs.
Bill Ford doesn't want it. Apparently he wants to ride the current management into bankruptcy.
Getting good management is impossible with Bill Ford doing the hiring. There is no bench of potential leaders because the culture doesn’t support hard working people, mostly the brown nosers get promoted and become even more psychotic towards coworkers.
The bench is shallow at Ford because BF and JF want it that way. Systematic strategic elimination of anyone who was is threat to their positions/egos; installation of yes-men. BF is having a difficult time recruiting a decent CEO as the Ford cultural issues are not a well-guarded secret.
