"I love when CAs...in any department...complain about cleaning up messes and having tok much work. I was a CA once. I was there complaining. Now, I can promise you. Yall do not have it that bad."

Seems I stroke a nerve, listen you haven't been a CA in a awhile so its understandable that you don't know what's up with CA team, In June they changed what CAs do drastically and CS team job did no change at all post TDP being absorbed by CAs, however CAs job just got way more complex, tracking down people who got paid because the wrong paper work got sent by CS, trying to work alternative titling, trying correct charges, negotiating charges in the 10s of thousands because CS did not bother to get charges(yes this happens everyday many times per day) , work just increased 3x fold, CAs jobs changed some much with a lot of added responsibilities with 2 days training, CAs doing work that should not be in their pay level and are getting severely underpaid and constantly mistreated, meanwhile CS team gets the "better than thou" attitude and can do no wrong, do you know many claims have to be fixed that CS settled daily? , almost every call CAs take is a messed up claim CS worked, but CAs just take the beatings and fix claims daily and also have to juggle working complex claim that have been sitting on the back burner for years, those take hours to figure out and they are expected to get it done in minutes due to metrics on phone calls, look is the CS work complex and hard? yes and sure there are a lot of dispute and specialty vehicles but CAs are expected to re- do that settlement if it gets messed up by CS and they get to be yelled at by the customer meanwhile the CS tells customer what they want to hear, sends a botched claim down stream to CAs and hits their numbers calls it a day.

before you complain best be informed what CAs do now since June, its not an easy job by any means and CAs dont get to re-assign a claim down stream when they are done with it , the buck literally stops with CAs.

TL CS de-escalates to CA once they settle , while the CS will have it bad the CAs have to clean up the mess, TL CS have some many new hires that they outnumber TL CAs 3 to 1, right now CAs do better work than CS because of newbies , that will even out as new hires come in on CA side, CS have something like 80% new hires and soon CAs too, this will be interesting to watch as the peak busy season is starting.

Ahh cannot wait to see how stewardship, in the least well staffed and highest turnover department will go. Those poor, underpaid, abused TL CS's will probably have 1000 claims per handler assigned.

Property has moved to Stewardship, so it wouldn’t come as a surprise. Total Loss used to be Stewardship up until the shift into demand pools.
