Women Execs disproportionately leaving FS due to RTO

The women mentioned in this article should disrupt financial services like Charles Schwab did. Start their own companies with happy employees who have a strong work ethic, who get s**t done wfh and deliver the best client experience as their competitive advantage.

"Wall Street keeps pushing to end WFH, but their own senior staff would rather quit than comply

“Without any deliberate action, women’s representation in senior leadership roles could stagnate. And in next-generation roles, representation could fall by 2031,” the report warned.

The solution is simple: When looking at what retains female workers, 70% of respondents cited flexibility as the top reason for staying put or leaving a company.

“Financial services institutions should be immensely concerned that many of their leaders—particularly women in senior leadership role—have one foot out the door,” Dan Schawbel, managing partner at Workplace Intelligence, said in a statement to Fortune. “While returning to the office can help organizations achieve their business objectives, companies should do so in a way that doesn’t sacrifice employee engagement and well-being.”

Diversity, equity, and inclusion expert Neda Shemluck, a managing director at Deloitte Services LP, echoed that warning.

“This latest report puts timely and relevant data behind the notion that flexibility in workplace arrangements is a driving force in employee engagement,”

But maybe that is CSs intent, to make women leave the industry and blame them for their own downfall. Just a thought.

I do, however, agree that this is affecting women most of all. They dared put them in this predicament because the ECC most likely has nannies and/or have not understood the real struggle in a woman’s mind and heart from having to choose between their children and their career and throwing the wrench back at them. It was too good to be true for the many women who really had it good with WFH and made it work. The flexibility was too much for the ECC to cope with. In no man’s justifiable mind did they think about what even a 20 minute commute did to affect the lives of employees with children trying to raise the next generation with chaotic lives dealing with child care pick up, after school activities, dinner, etc. Doesn’t look like they care because they can send their kids to private schools with those outrageous salaries. I bet they were the most productive too as women are masters at multi tasking and getting things done in the face of adversity. What a disappointment.
