The processing world here is being turned upside down after Labor Day.
The whole team has been crammed onto the dock to process. The mail room has been crammed into an old stockroom. No room, no room for storage, safety issues abound.
Truck delivery times will be later. Schedule will completely change. Processing has to start later/ leave later dodging inbound delivery traffic.
No one is applying for open positions needing to be filled because of low wages, no raises, and poor working conditions.
Morale is at an all time low. Store manager thinks we’re all thieves, and that constantly threatening to fire everyone is motivational.
Management is changing everything, but they haven’t thought many details through that will create chaos for everyone.
Are we a Nordstrom guinea pig, or is this happening in your store also?

Invite the Union in to speak to the employees in your store.
Notice that every change they make to the process... slows it down more.
oh maan.. sorry. Sounds like you need a different job.
I don’t know what I’m going to do. I can’t handle this much longer. I’m on the edge of total breakdown.
Get used to it. LOL
Same thing here at store 002. I’m looking.
