Some of my peers invested in my manager's business. so definitely they are getting all benefits. those who are not aligned with manager's business or strategy will be eliminated.

I agree, the EUC leadership team is delusional if they think the current pipeline of small SaaS deals will rationalize these favorite employee promotions. Pitiful last resort.
Many of our customer are signing one-year SaaS subscriptions to gain time to research and find modern alternatives to the Intelligent Hub. And, Citrix customers are likely doing exactly the same before they replace that old technology. There are lots of better options.
Shanker knows what the future will be for the EUC BU. Hock is no fool.
Fact: the high cost of the old VDI solution has doomed this BU, because Microsoft and low-cost startups have already targeted the WS1 and Horizon installed base. The promotions don't matter, in the overall scheme of things. Game over for the EUC business model. There is no future for expensive obsolete technology.
Zero deliveries still many members got promoted. Does manager want to protect their pets? Windows HUB, CTE, promotions are clear examples. they will not be axed soon i believe
