So you are saying that a company gets poor ratings from employees when it hangs the sword of potential layoffs over the all the employees with little to no transparency for not one, not two, but six entire weeks? Color me surprised.
Ditto... my team down 20 to 30 points in the same categories above. Complete blood bath.
Our team hasn't even been told the results of last quarter's survey. It's been several years since management bothered to talk about any of the survey results, which tells us that they're bad and they want to ignore it.
I rated low, not because of the layoffs or RTO but because my current management is horrible. I work 60 hours a week on multiple projects/applications and my boss screams at me on the the regular. I'm hoping one of us gets laid off during this round of cuts. Fingers crossed!
@kpm+1o1dyabh must be great at parties. But not at cube neighbor.
I have great work life balance. I live alone with my cat. Schwab needs to hire more of us to score higher on this Glint surveys.
It's all dependent on your role, team, and org. So what area do you work in so that I can apply to your org? lol
It won't make a difference
We have not RTO yet. And yet you all answer WLB with low marks because of forward looking commute times. Be honest. Don’t let your emotions dictate how you answer. With most WFH, and generally we are not given unreasonable amount of work, your scores should be high for WLB. Next year? Sure it can drop due to longer commute times. But that is an individual thing. Some us can drive into the office in 20 minutes. Just be fair and don’t act like a three year old.
I gave several low ratings because I was forced to. Leadership made these awful decisions that has adversely affected my life and work life. It’s my duty to honestly answer those questions. Now I wait to see how leadership responds. A coward would retaliate, a leader would listen and make changes.
@jlh+1o1dyabh
I gave a 4 out of 5. Would have put it as 5 out of 5 if not for the announcements. Many will be putting it lower because they are getting 2 hour commutes one way which will leave them with no work life balance.
@jlh+1o1dyabh This is because you have no life, sorry to break it to you.
I am 90.. was at 90 before
@jlh+1o1dyabh might be great for you. Everyone I talk to on my team and previous orgs agrees the recent Schwab WLB is pretty terrible and it is likely to get worse.
We have great work life balance. Why does anyone even question that? Many of you are just angry, and gave low marks. That is just wrong. Like a three day old child throwing a tantrum.
@zey+1o1dyabh Straight sho-ter here. 100% agree with 1-3.
My team su-ks, I must have been the only one giving low deserving scores. I am so disappointed.
These were high, wtf!!!
- Recommend as a good place to work
- Plan on working here in 2 years
- Work Life Balance
These were lower which I agree with:
- Schwab does a good job communicating
- Confident in EC
- Barriers to execution
@ilg+1o1dyabh I don't think any of that is true.
do you even work here?
I gave high marks on most questions. Has nothing to do with RTO or pending layoffs. Even though the layoffs from $500 mil cuts was not announced till after Glint closed, it has no bearing.
my team saw changes down in the -30s in SEVERAL questions.
