I am seeing and hearing more and more scenarios where GSC employees are now reporting directly into US businesses and dotted line into GSC management. Has anyone else been noticing this?

It is not a coincidence that the company is converting ppl to 3m permanent en masse in bangaluru. This will continue. Tbh with the level of pathetic service in polska can u blame potty and bilbo gibbons… i mean the co. I mean thats what Kearney is telling me to do.

There were customer service roles that went to the GSC in the past, and I think they may have reported into US teams. However, an executive called and got such bad service that it was quickly deemed necessary to move back to the US. That executive is no longer with the company, and yes, I have been noticing that it is now happening again (and in more areas where cuts were deep). I would assume the overall goal is AI and cheap labor. 3M will never stop unless they get the Bud Light treatment for trying to cut US jobs, send them to GSCs and chase US sales. Unless that is somehow deemed traitorous, they will never stop.
