Thread regarding Hy-Vee layoffs

2 new stores

Does anyone know how the 2 new huge stores are doing, Green Bay and Gretna? I'd be interested to know how the staffing is going. I know that good help is hard to find and HyVee is not known to pay for good help.

@ccf+1nyqtQWb Funny enough, I left hyvee for a job that pays $30 an hours, every holiday off and free health care coverage. Best decision I've ever made. It feels good to have an employer that actually cares and invest in their employees

The gretna store is doing well. They have one of the best store managers in the company running that store. That area needed a grocery store for a long time and people have the money to spend. I will expect that gretna store to be a top ten in sales in less than 5 years.

Green Bay is doing terrible. In fact all the WI stores are not performing. WI is a market that struggles just like Twin Cities.

Yea, that's really not an answer to that question. Just saying

You could start most of these deadbeats at $30/hr and they'd still want every holiday off and free health coverage.
