Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Sabre's acquisition of Techsembly

Is it crazy for a company with financial troubles to make an acquisition? It seems illogical since it requires spending money and carries risks associated with acquisitions.

Does anyone know what could be the reasons for this acquisition? Will it help Sabre reduce costs, or does Sabre have some technological leverage to optimize Techsembly?

Does anyone have numbers on the acquisition?

Probably just not a very expensive acquisition in the scheme of things.

They may have wanted to buy out a small competitor for the intelligent retail product to limit competition. They have seemingly abandoned SPH by crippling support staff and laying off critical client-facing staff. Maybe they’re going all in on this one product?

But, trying to make sense of anything these clowns do probably is a waste of time!

It does not make sense unless an executive got a kickback or bonus for the deal. The market did not agree either. Sabre stock dropped from $3.30 to $3.12 that morning but recovered back to $3.30s by end of week.
