I don't get the impression that folks are really happy with how much they were able to learn here. Or am I wrong? Some will say that the individual is solely responsible for learning, but a lot depends on the environment that encourages skillset growth.

Nice rationalization bro on why you are to lazy or slow to pursue any self development. Hope you enjoy your lifetime role.
Degreed has stuff that will waste your time and not result in any role change. The company will pay for a degree for you, only to keep you answering phones after. There is so much talk at this company about employees growth and development, and nearly zero action or realistic improvements, and none that does exist actually results in a promotion.
I worked with someone who got a full CPCU and degree paid for by the company, didnt get a promotion for two years, and then left to make use of the degree the company paid for. Thats how this company rolls unfortunately. Its ALL talk.
In the 90’s-early 2000’s we were the best trained in the industry and EVERYONE knew it. CS’s were getting calls from other Ins cos as they worked, with job offers. Had lunch and learns weekly. Had excellent training classes with experienced reps from different segments assisting with teaching. Miss those days…

So busy in claims that everything is cancelled including huddles. There is no time to learn anything and even lateral moves into anything else are paused. You just pedal on your hamster wheel as fast as you can.
I’ve not learned much about adjusting, per se. I’ve only learned how to survive the ultra toxic State Farm environment. I’m not proud of that.
