Engagement survey

Anyone taking bets on whether the next engagement survey gets sh*tcanned or delayed? I hope the EC is too oblivious to consider delaying so we can really see what RTO has done to engagement. The results will throw a spotlight on the blood in the water.

The glint survey that just came out is the quarterly one, not the big annual one. That's the one that EC really cares about, as results from it are used for certain awards the company receives.

I would not recommend Schwab to a friend as a place to work.

I would not recommend Schwab as a financial services company.

I don’t have a best friend at work.

Work life balance will be terrible come October.

I don’t have any trust in leadership’s vision.

“ Who cares? If they are going to get rid of you for giving low survey scores, they were going to get rid of you anyway”
Both statements can be true a undesirable at the same time: surveys are not anonymous and they want to reduce headcount (by forced attrition or any other way)

An engaged team that cares will respond to the survey. Since everyone here is very emotionally attached to Schwab, I assume we will have good Glint responses for leadership review and planning.

“Correct, survey is not anonymous”

fun fact, you can copy the survey link and take the survey at home, but anywho, anyone who actually thinks those surveys are your way of having a voice has no clue they are actually pointless. They are not even truly anonymous, why would a survey have your name on it yet it’s anonymous? my advice dont take the survey (they hate that more)

While they will make excuses after excuses, don't throw your team members under the bus. focus on giving poor scores only to Schwab leadership and the firm not being a great place for clients or employees

They have barely acknowledged the surveys since 2020. No reason to quit sending them since they have roughly the same influence as you putting your opinion on paper, inserting it into an envelope, and then lighting it on fire.

My manager is already trying to do damage control on the upcoming survey. I will be answering honestly for the first time.

Survey will still happen. They will not cancel it now that it is quarterly. Results will be atrocious.

It'll come out and they'll just ignore it like every other survey.
