It's so hard for management during these times. What a cold callous comment on the CTO town hall. What about the people that are being laid off, probably much harder on them then you. What can you expect from people running this layoff? They've screwed it up at every turn, opportunity to be clear to people ignored, nothing like wondering if you're gone once they announce it ever so briefly on a call. Just shows you they don't care, you're only a number and a dollar sign to the book keepers.
