Heard there is bunch of c12k layoffs around 2010 are due to lack of leadership vision for c12k managers. Can anyone confirm that is true?

In the days Cisco wasn't woke and politically correct, the 12K was called the BFR.
I worked on the c12k for 7yrs straight. I sometimes have dreams of the bugs I fixed.
IIRC the C12000 started as an IOS box and migrated to IOS-XR. What was it destined to do that newer systems like the ASR9000 couldn't do?
The question is not for leadership, for those who are part of c12k team.
There is a bunch of layoffs in 2010? I hope that leadership can think if how to go back 13 years and fix things. Oh and by the way publish all lottery numbers between then and now. We are control all your base.
