@wadtinqbY5ae stated that the larger plants were having planned shutdowns every month. When did the shutdowns start and which plants are being impacted by them? I'm curious because they just spent millions on our plant, are talking about a possible new product contract with a leading automotive manufacturer, and overtime is plentiful (mandatory) at our plant.
Simple. Abysmal leadership. EVERYTHING flows from that.
Yet you work for a losing company with leaders who cannot lead. Smh
big plants are having planned shutdowns every month. operators are not happy that they have less work hours and over time pay. everyone is unhappy and we are seeing an exodus of experienced workers.
How can one be happy to see their GESPP value being slashed by half? Which means their retirement funds have been decimated and now needs to work longer.
Guess we got 2 lovers pumping the stock in here. Bet they don't even work for 3m.
HR is a joke and lacks leadership! They need to clean house and get new leaders in that function!
Some are unhappy because of the lack of accountability for underperformance. High 2 = Low 2 in the eyes of the the total compensation statement. I’m happy with my exceptional rating and decent raise.
Other people who are at work everyday are sick of the people in St. Paul making decisions from their lake homes. I have made my peace with it, I like winning and that is why I show up everyday.
That being said, things may be turning around. The most recent layoffs trimmed some fat and people who have underperformed are now taking actions to make themselves more visible and important to their bosses. There is more work to be done we will see what Q3 brings.
Cats and dogs agree that if you are part of a winning team you will be happy. I’m a winner and so is Yammer Dog that is probably why he is happy.
I'm happy. Would be happier if those that hate the company would pack up and go so the rest of us could be happier. Morale would increase too...please consider helping.
Most employees like the other employees they work with but dislike the bosses. Pretty simple fix but HR is a joke-a-thon to make those hard decisions. How hard is it to replace some lower management? It's like they have unlimited strikes to f up yet all the production workers have to be accountable? Burn bridges and expect employees to respect you or be happy? Yeah right. 3m sucks.
