Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Work that sucks… lack of desks in person

I loved the non answer they gave us regarding the lack of workspaces. It’s most apparent on busy days: no available meeting rooms, lack of desks with monitors, limited desks…

Hot desking is awful and unless the PEC is also willing to do it on their floor, then they can go take a hike. Don’t expect me to come in after sitting in traffic and work 10+ hours on a barstool when I have an amazing setup at home with a monitor, keyboard, and everything else that I need. The office has essentially become a college library (except with inconsiderate people taking zoom calls in the open).
Now I know why so many in leadership have left in the last few months… it’s a sh-t show

it is so much easier to fake being busy while remote, I guess I will have to start chatting at the water cooler to keep busy if I am forced to go back in the office

I look forward to going back to the office and doing the bare to next to nothing minimum...

It's all so d-mb. I'm not going into the office. I'm also not quitting. Let the chips fall where they may.

Give me a desk or I am not doing it. So stupid

Agreed. RL and PEC are only doing this hoping people will quit to keep up the illusion of consecutive profitable quarters. Anything for those shareholders and stock options
