If the teamsters strike, I can't imagine it's too long of a strike, but either way UPS will lose money. Who gets laid off then? A bit of everyone?

Good plan but how on earth could management survive in truck with no air conditioning?
UPS Corporate should do the work themselves and lay off all the Teamsters! Carol can unload trucks and the board of directors with the executive staff can load and deliver; finally they will earn their millions and really show us what they are made of!
layoffs may come if management has to drive trucks during strike and the numbers say cheaper to make them do both jobs after strike.
Businesses carry insurance to mitigate any losses.
