Looking at Ford salaried postings on the career site, there are new jobs listed. The catch is that a lot are in Chennai. Who would have ever guessed that (besides everybody)?

It's simple math. The bean counters can get Chennai people for 40 cents on the dollar. Problem is that money goes to agencies who hire kids fresh out of school that have lack of experience, bad equipment, bad internet connections, and poor work ethics. Quality is being flushed down the toilet.
The lowered headcount in Dearborn will end up ruining West Dearborn business. Good job Billy and Jimmy

True that OP, and let's not forget all the 'ramp up' that's been going on in mexico and brazil . . . we onboard them, train them, and then are replaced by them. FOM peeps come at 1/3 the $$ cost of a 'greedy gr---o' . . . Let's see if this is more or less sustainable than what happened to microsoft when they moved to india.
