I believe managers when they say we're all one big family at Medtronic. A dysfunctional, lying, hating, unfaithful family, but a family non the less. A family where everybody hates each other and looks for ways to stab each other in the back. But still a family, right? Does this sound about right?

I left recently, voluntarily, but I genuinely enjoyed all my colleagues and all the individuals I met in each OU. I worked in an enterprise wide function. Even though I don’t approve of Geoff Martha, I did enjoy the VP assigned our area as well as my Directors and Managers. If a job ever opens up that I’m interested in, I’m not opposed to applying and coming back to Medtronic. I know it’s going through a hard time, but the people I worked with at MDT are truly some of the best.
As good as a family where the weird uncle touches me in weird places
Groupthink and Hunger games at its best.
I don't know where you work at Medtronic but my group gets along just fine and we don't have the hate you seem to have. Do you still work here or were you let go? It appears someone is very bitter, maybe you are the problem!!!
It was certainly dysfunctional much of the time when I worked there with different groups not able to agree on how to resolve even minor issues. Everyone was in charge and no one was in charge. I don't think there was enough competence from the mean people bent on revenge to successfully carry out their plots.
Having said that, there were a few times there where I worked with great people and great teams and we got a few things done.
Usually though it was comically awful.
you need a vacation, dude.
