It wouldn't surprise me if corporates thought they're doing a great thing, while in reality, because of their decisions, this place is sinking deeper and deeper.
Too many inflated egos.

Yes Hy-Vee like most companies think its perfect. Their problem is they make too many pivots and those decisions cost $. Example. Everytime they change their ads on a whim it costs 100s of Thousands of dollars. These things are printed weeks and contracted months ahead. Huge waste of paper and money. Don't get me started on the signs the stores all throw away. Estimate $30,000 per week company wide in thrown unused signs alone. I'll never forget cleaning out the Dept Head office and finding a corner with 12 boxes of ironman and colorful signs that were 3-4 years old all unopen
What exactly does "great thing" refer to?
Not disagreeing, but can you provide more context with that?
HyVee is failing because Randy and mini randy ego and pride. Just keep sinking the ship mini randy.
