Thread regarding Phillips 66 layoffs

Wow. The ELT has elected to take all corporate cell phones and ipads from employees.

It has officially been confirmed. P66 is cutting the contract with ATT and Verizon and removing all employee cell phones and ipads.
And on top of that, in the recent HRITLT People Leader Webex Meeting it was announced that Zhanna would be moving to SVP-HR so she and fake Sean Connery can finish sucking the rest of the fun from this company.

Both items in the Op are fake news. The cell contracts on some ipads were terminated, but they didn't take back the ipads, and no one is losing a corp phone. Also no one is making Z head of HR, there is an external search ongoing.

So when are all the phones and iPads confiscated? More importantly, when is the Z announcement coming? Seems like it would have happened by now unless, of course, this is all false BS like pretty much everything else posted here.

Since they’re so keen on saving money how about they shut down the executive dining room at head quarters?
And while they’re at it they can trim the bloated ELT.
They can also fly commercial when they to various locations to bother people. Oh wait a minute, I meant to say visit to provide useful information about the Transformation. On second thought I was right the first time!

Well, the ELT are simply wh*res to Wall Street so anything to save a buck, they’ll do…at someone else’s expense naturally. They’re “creating value”.

Joking aside, it’s unfortunate that they’re bailing on Bville. The gym is solid and the rest of the fitness facilities are up to par. Maybe they can get a gym in Bangalore for future employees.

Frank and Boots are rolling in their graves. Strength, Honor, Commitment…better pay some overhyped consultants to come up with new values.

Now I've just learned that the ELT has already begun plans to shut down the Bartlesville pool and gymnasium.
With the closing of both the P66 and Conoco museums, the lowering of the Bartlesville corporate footprint, and the way the research center is cancelling government funded projects, it would seem that perhaps the Bartlesville office is finally on the way out.

Zhanna is going to be SVP of HR and the headline is about cell phones? LOL

What now? I've been out of the office. Did something go out about ipads? Swear to god, ipads and tableau were the only two good things to come out of AE66. Already got rid of Tableau, might as well get rid of the ipads too.

Funny you should mention the paid parking... Internal committees have been formed at each site to rank the convenience of each parking space. The next step is to come up with a pricing plan to start charging employees/contractors for any spot that's halfway decent.

Most other companies stopped giving employees cell phones and ipads post 2015, Im surprised it took P66 this long to claw back such privilege. That being said, I'm not happy it happened.

People in Bartlesville already have to pay for their parking if they don’t want to have to walk a mile and a half into the buildings, so…?

This sounds like something right out of Alice in Wonderland.

Next, we will have to pay for our parking spaces.
