Ripping off partners with “Low Cost” Expats?

Have you noticed the high number of BTC personnel are getting assigned to Expat positions?

Seems like EM is charging our partners full price for these positions then providing partners with Low Cost individuals and banking the profit. I suspect EM not offering them at a discount.

The full price charged and lower quality Low Cost individuals provided will likely upset our partners and eventually make our partners stop sourcing Expats from EM. Why would our partners pay EM expat rates for an Indian when they can hire that same person direct from India for 1/5 that cost?

It will be hilarious if the relationship with US and India goes bad for something like India becoming largest buyer of Russian Crude.

Sanctions on India would really put EM in a bind.

Lower cost OPEX is necessary when you are a commodity business. We have finally admitted to ourselves that all of our products are commodities.

We no longer use the words, "Game-Changing", "Breakthrough", "Differentiated", "Proprietary," ...etc. in the 21st century.

BTC bill rate carries no Houston VP overhead, campus, or many other shared cost function. Therefore, it’s actually a great deal for our partners.

However, one could ask about the quality of the service, as we force out experienced HC10 employees and hire mid-range India resources from non-oil and non-owner backgrounds. And then, force typically in-person jobs to be done remote, at a 12hr offset. I doubt we highlight this inefficiency to partners, nor the turmoil it’s causing to our working teams.

I am sure that remote EMTEC support was critical in identifying the failing hull on our MEGI ZP (sarcastic font), and we didn’t have to wait for it to fail in-situ.
