Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Toxic Ford! Chasing Tesla's shawdow until it gave in!

FoMoCo has changed from a family friendly atmosphere to cut throat! Mark Fields and Joe Henrich both were a huge loss to the company. It went down hill from there because the company became too greedy. It lived off the "we didn't take the bail out" philosophy for so long. Jim Farley was never the leadership type. In the townhalls always providing negative moral and talking cost rather than engineering. Post Covid it got so toxic it became looking for co-workers dirty laundry rather on fixing issues. I can keep on and on. Laid off or not, get out of there asap! Lots of job opportunities out there! be loyal to YOU!

Yeah the firing of Mark Fields was the beginning of the downfall. People bashed him unfairly because he followed a legend. The thing was Fields was continuing what Alan set in motion. Plus he knew you needed a robust ICE business to fund the eventual transition to EVs. People forget that the development of both the Mach-e and Lightning started under Mark.

Then Hackett came in and started to undo all that Alan had done. Then when he was too old to continue, here came Farley to start putting the nails in the coffin.

Hinrichs should have been Mark's replacement if you were going to replace him. When they pushed Joe out, the fate of Ford was sealed. It's I've l only a matter of time until "A Subsidiary Of Tesla" is added to the blue oval.

FoMoCo - Interesting to see it written like that. FOMO CO - JF has FOMO from not being Elon Musk. He thinks he's leading, but he's always chasing Elon. Sad. And no way to run a company.
