Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Never tell a fool that he is a fool. All you'll have is an angry fool. —Talmud

Indeed.

Not worth the thought. A fool is a fool is a fool.

Oy gevalt.

The desperate Stanford tagging proves it will never shut down.
They should have eaten crow a year ago. Instead they just force it upon everyone.
The non relevant linked in activity is doing more harm than good. How can't they see that?

And the fluid money to buy into a Stanford tag is an insult to all who did REAL jobs that couldn't even think about social media, let alone obsess about it, and were impacted this year.

Ha. Big difference between 6% & 100%>>>>
" *Stanford accepts LESS Than 6% of Applicants to it's formal business school.
Stanford accepts payment from 100% of all who register for an online public course* "

Also, one can't cherry pick their online presence. If one goes out of their way to over-post, over-share and boldly declare things like being an expert on topics they just recently 'heard' about, they must face the consequence and not cry foul.

This pile-on is pathetic. If you don’t like her, don’t follow, simple as. Seriously guys get a life. This kind of targeted abuse isn’t okay.

She is an FxxxING FOOL.

I don't care if that turns into her becoming an ANGRY Fool.

A Fool is a Fool is a Fool ..

And BEYOND FOOLISH for Avaya to have ever hired the severely unqualified person, but to promote them and then, even well after it became so so obvious. They never managed the social media MTV Teen Mom level of insane empty minded programming.

Bad on everyone. Bad, bad, bad.

All y'all do is fast track her to learning how to pivot.
Let her duxxarse burn just by being who she can't help herself being.
She is so obvious. The funniest is how people who list an online seminar (the technical name to those programms) to appear as if it's their actual education are spotted immediately by recruiters and eliminated. It's well known in recruiter world. It's funny.
Just let her be, as she does a better job exposing how phoney she is than anything anyone can post on here.

She has already Violated Stanford Rules by claiming GSB as her Education.

Stanford accepts LESS Than 6% of Applicants to it's formal business school.
Stanford accepts payment from 100% of all who register for an online public course.

However, they Do Not Tolerate even the 100% open to All if they VIOLATE the terms by falsely presenting the one-off course as a formal student.

Let's just say, "Did you Know" she was just reported to the Stanford hotline for her bold and public violation of thei terms of her agreement?

Do I

  • Buy new editing software?
  • Ordr new Bedazzled Football Encrusted Sparkle Stripper Boots?
  • Buy A Spot in a Seminar that Accepts ANYONE with a credit card with Stanford Executive Online Pay-2-Play?

Well, my employer will PAY for me to do it while I'm publicly looking for another job, so of course Pretendng I'm not Stupid at Stanford when I'm simply paying a fee to watch video is super awesome for my Community College Education self.

For the low low price of $1500, you too can go to Stanford and learn how to further develop your personal brand, and of course add it to your LinkedIn profile.

This is what happens when comments are made that she isn't that smart or that she possibly had a learning disability. She is out to prove everyone wrong.

Which is worse, you ask?

Definitely the posts. People who engage with the "say nothing" posts are annoying. Yet can we just get the posts to stop?

What prize is she going for? What is the purpose of so so so much activity that says nothing meaningful? Is there some sort of influencer status based on volume? I just don't get it.

Unfollow.

I presumed she had left. Because I refuse to follow. It has led to me removing dozens of Linked In contacts. Essentially, anyone who interacted with her drove her postings to my feed and anyone who did that was instantly removed as a connection. I refused to allow the nonsense. Life is much easier to not be "forced" to see those posts. And I hope my instincts are correct and she is gone. Attention is her oxygen.

I don't what's worse. The posts that person writes or the people that like/engage with the posts. How do they not see through that?

What's also "bad for our brand" is borrowing excerpts from book reviews.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/20893356-the-best-place-to-work

It won't be long before this review is gone off her feed. Someone needs to step in and put a stop to this once and for all. No more having a "talking to"

The only explanation for the irrelevant babble is extreme emotional instability. It's also possible there may be a learning disability based on the non-sequitur postings of irrelevant and insignificant random bits. If it weren't so annoying when so many eyes are upon us, I may actually feel bad for this individual.

"People who aren't emotionally stable post more frequently in order to regulate their emotions and receive social support: Low emotionally stable individuals experience emotions more intensely and have difficulty regulating their emotions on their own"

Regardless, it is extremely irresponsible for management to not address and manage. The so-called brand is profoundly unprofessional.

I think that's the point -- she is putting on a "show" (spectacle, really) for the company she is interviewing for. She believes herself to be some invaluable asset. And when they informed her she was no longer authorized to travel to Engage, she tripled down on her already unsuccessful job search. She will show us!
Why? Just WHY did it tke so long for anyone to see her for what she really is? She just humiliates us all.

On the topic of Fool Wisdom
"A fool flatters himself, a wise man flatters the fool."

And S(he) is drowning in self-flattery. No idea how S(he) has any extra hours to do a job during the day.
