Get your contact email updated in my ford benefits to personal email, along w phone number asap.
I was let go in August 2022. I had less than 4 hours to get whatever I needed off the Ford intranet, email, etc... I prepared ahead of time, just in case, but I still had a few things I wanted to get. All access was gone in less than 4 hours.
write down necessary contacts eg boss' and coworkers email + phone number
You might want to PDF your past reviews, and if you’re working from home, open Gmail in one browser and create all the drafts of things that you need to copy and paste over, get off the Ford Netwerk then send the Gmail that’s how I was able to get all of my documentation once I was cut off
It was too late for me when I got let go in 2019. I was retirement eligible and was provided info on that by my director and HR during the 15 minute meeting. I received a check for unused vacation in 2020 and was sent W2's in the mail February, 2020 and February, 2021. I brought a Honda.
When were you told? was it early morning?
If you were hired before Jan 1, 2004 you may want to calculate your pension options as they took this calculator away when I was terminated last year. They will send you all the plan docs and you will still have access to them through the website. Don’t trust the NESC or VIA Benefits people with what you are eligible for. Everything is documented.
