lots of small doors have just two or three females closing the store alone. my store had just two one night if someone calls out sick. this is high risk and eventually something bad will happen. belk does not care. belk stores in some locations are having grab and run robbery on a daily and some on a weekly basis. belk has no security. be careful if you are working in a belk store at night, it's not safe.

If Belk associates steals a polo shirt or soemething, you will be terminated or you’re fired by your Belk store manager! If top executive caught stealing or miss use Belk resources and money of bad plans or continue to business badly at Belk, they call you King! Don Hendricks and his goons won’t care of your working safely at night at Belk as long as you continue asking for Belk credits or emails and don’t rob your own Belk!
In our store we do have grab and run robbery on a daily basis. It's very disturbing!
Sorry but I am not willing to fight with the people stealing from belk . No matter how strong I might be.
I no longer work for belk (little b), but I can tell you that most of the women, there, coulda kicked MY a-s and I was a 240lb guy-pig unloading heavy trucks and doing all the maintenance!
No, really! It would be me, one other guy and our Operations Manager unloading, staging and merchandising 2000-piece trucks, and the OM was a woman who could, very likely, throw any dude's legs over his head in a full-on Cage Match move, Ronda Rousey-style, and cause some serious pain!
Fact is, anyone could be a target in a bad situation. And, belk (little b) being too cheap to turn on parking lot lights or schedule people properly to leave together is bollocks and dangerous, no doubt!
But, never underestimate anyone based on gender. You might get the shock of your life!
