What is a big difference a large 14 inch pizza and your $14 competitive starting salary at Belk stores? A large pizza can feed a family of four!
The RVP Belk said $14 is good salary to atttact new Belk workers if you give them 15 hours or less each week to work! Belk never give you 40 hrs a week to work but expect impossible tasks from you! So wake-up with your $190000.00
salary and bonuses or dream on this ignoramus Belk RVP!

@awc Thanks for reading! It is not I am trying to compare a 14 inch large pizza and this filthy greedy Belk. It is nasty but no honest truth about Belk and filthy ugly business strategy from Belk today! Now if this RVP says we pay new part time with 4 hours at $25 or more then it is nice or living wages unless you want to work for Pizza Hut and Belk at the ugly rate the RVP quoted at $14 competitive rate when his nasty and do nothing job is about $190000.00 a year with perks and bonuses from Belk. So either Belk company is so stupid paying this RVP so much or he is lying about his overpaid salary!
Bad analogy, but point definitely made: Belk only guarantees 4 hours per day, per week for part-timers, and that's all they want is pt help.
Besides $14 an hour NOT being considered a "living wage" in these inflated times, it's worse if you get minimum hours. It's not worth paying for the gas to get to the job!
