Was told this week that we would be given a timeline as to when layoffs would start, and it would be done in three waves. . Hoping this to be true. A lot of frustration on the manufacturing floor as many who are supposed to be getting a decent severance as promised are holding out for it before jumping to a future employer. Problem is, those who may have also secured future positions at other companies end up losing them again because they can't provide a certain start date. One result is many just forfeiting the severance and moving on. Not much of a win for either side.

Word today at the All Hands meeting was 60 day notices for most will go out at the end of August. Plan accordingly..
