Thread regarding Hy-Vee layoffs

I'm too tired to look for a job

Maybe this was their goal from the start. Cut enough people that those of us who are left are breaking our backs every day to the point where I can't even think about even going out anymore for fun, not to mention looking for another job. Like this, they have us by our ba--s.

Just apply for other jobs while you are at work

Right! How can you provide a high quality of service, diversified product assortment, and impeccable cleanliness required to justify HyVee's relatively high prices with skeleton crews? Walmart justifies low prices in exchange for a lack of these things. How can HyVee justify their higher prices anymore without spending money on ground-level labor? Corporate is too busy spending your money on stupid, needless cr-p grocery shoppers do not want. It's easy to quit knowing this.

It’s not that you’re too tired it’s that you are afraid to leave HyVee. That’s why you haven’t applied at other jobs. Let me ask you this how long have your worked for HyVee? Do you see yourself at HyVee in 5 years? Just cut the cord and leave. It’s hard leaving a job you have worked for your whole life. It’s not to late to get out.

Applying for a different job requires the same effort as making this post. 🤷‍♀️ Go for it.
