Just throwing logic in here.
Blame the fuel supplier for the actions of an entire society built upon the use of fuel.
Production of hydrocarbon fuels and chemicals has enabled the quality of life, quantity of life, and life expectancy to grow to never before seen levels.
What would life be like if next month all hydrocarbon production ceased in an effort to save the planet?
Billions of people would starve, or be ki-led be other starving people. Farming with miles that are now in short supply. Transport by horse and buggy because even coal powered steam trains are socially unacceptable.
Be mindful when judging the oil industry for all the bad in the world. Imagine having to live without the oil industry! It would be similar to Roman times, but overpopulated and unsustainable.
I like how all the people on here constantly complaining about EM suddenly snap to the company’s defense on this issue.
Defending the very people who are sh-----g all over you? Make it make sense.
No one has a crystal ball and we are already overpopulated so what does it matter?
Seems that EM is only responsible for emissions from its facilities.
EM should not be blamed on emissions from all the end users.
That would be like blaming a car manufacturer for someone crashing a stolen car during a police chase. Very far removed from the manufacturer responsibility.
If global warming were true and sea levels really rising so fast, then banks would not give 30 year loans for any buildings in coastal cities.
Prove me wrong. Emphasis on prove!
