Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Tigers???

There’s talk of a layoff of “tigers”
Why does it take a special team of sales “tigers” to sell iGens and the ridiculously named “Baltoro” inkjet press.
WTF!!! Are they THAT complicated? Why can’t the sales reps sell this stuff after all these many years. Asking for my friend, Carl.

The smart ones have moved on. A few of the incompetent ones have been weeded out. It’s really just a hiding place for the “production czar” who could never have made it anywhere else.
More layoffs coming. Eventually they’ll get him but by then he will have ripped off Xerox for millions.

I know of one midwestern river city of nearly 3 million metro pop. that now has literally no Xerox representation other than a tiger and a non-participating production partner/multi-brand dealer. Xerox got rid of sales leadership and the rest of the team followed. What a trainwreck. Hope that tiger has a good prospecting game.

The sales staff of today are poorly trained and in no way compare to past sales divisions or regions.

It takes a special blend of ice blue aqua velva and delusional chutzpah to sell tomorrow’s scrap metal today…
