Does anyone know how many belk stores are located in dying malls or dead strip malls? I can think of just about a half dozen in my state alone, maybe more.

Florence, SC has a location called Magnolia Mall. You can see walkthrough videos on YouChoob. It's as dead as dead can be, I must say. There is a food court that keeps the place going.. But the shops are just dreadful. Even the vape shop is usually empty.
