#DidYouKnow, Chapter11 = Success? CEO Personal Brand!! ok

Well lookie this! Move over Evangelshytes...There is now a CEO who needs to Self Celebrate!

And Did You know that
Chapter 11= Success?

This guy is now the #1 marketing expense. And for the privilege of securing his new client, who is also an old friend and previous CEO at Vonage (see this consultants work at Vonage below), he wrote a hype piece in Forbes on CEO. And here begins the CEO shopping himself for his next role via Avaya dollars. .

Focus on Customer is Excellent and Long overdue. However isn't that what a group should do first, behind the scenes, before taking a celebratory victory lap within the very same quarter in which they were also actively under Chapter 11 Protection?

Turn around was so successful they just kept turning around (That’s where spin comes from).

I’ve heard the new clothes are almost ready, the Emperor will be pleased. All together, pleased.

Success?
Where are all of these "new" clients coming from. All of my deals were put on hold. Everyone in my region is dealing with clients who are "on hold" since BK.
None of this makes any sense to those of us on the ground.

I think this is great!!!!
Maybe they will finally end the lazy pay-2-play with the usual suspects. I've never understood why Avaya corporate communications/analyst relations just pushes the same repeat button with the same industry rags over and over and over, especially when NO AVAYA Clients read those rags! Sometimes a prospect might review as part of due diligence work. Even a prospect will notice the skewed placement of spin stories.
I like this Mr. Hykens focus on fighting like he-l to keep customers.
Avaya has rretained zero customers based on their planted stories with CRN, UC (why does the UC/CX family of rags have a dozen names?) and the like.
I do think this guys work will greatly benefit Avaya clients.
As far as CEO shopping for next job, isn't that the middle name of every CEO? And declaring success is a bit of a stretch. They have yet to begin te process. Not time for a victory lap!
