I left WD recently. Before I started the move, I used to think it's a harsh time to find a job at this moment because many tech companies also had layoffs. However, I ended up hired by a chip design company due to my past WD FW development experience. I was just asking for the same pay but the new company willing to add 20% more than what I had asked for. I think I should appreciate WD provided me such a working experience but I have to find a better place for myself before it's too late. I'd encourage you to give it a try as well. There is no harm to give it a try as soon as possible.

I agree!
I had no idea how toxic the atmosphere had become and how much it affected me until 2 days after the lay off and how this black cloud was lifted.
I have no idea what is going to happen to WDC but I do know it is not a very pleasant place to work at anymore.

Happy to have been selected for the RIF this last go around. Amazing how the body responds from not being in a toxic environment.
