Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Stock up 32%

which proves that we are going in the right direction and you might not have noticed that travel is recovering rapidly. Domestic now above 2019 levels. International and business travel also improving. Now, as far as unconcious bias is concerned, I have a bias against id--ts which hasnt changed since the training.

the rise in sabre's stock price can be attributed to several factors: a better-than-expected earnings report, a rosy outlook for the travel market and the threat of a recession receding.

the long-term outlook for sabre, though, is another question. is sabre gaining ground on its competitors? is it coming out with new products and services and developing new revenue sources? sabre is carrying a lot of debt and the cost of that debt will weigh heavily on its ability to develop new products and keep up with its peers.

Stock Options are being sold, leaders selling before the bump goes back down.

You are all geniuses if you think the employee reductions caused the stcok price to increase. Pay attention to investors and what they are looking for. Sabre exceeded guidance provided in the previous quarter. Revenues were up, marginal market wins etc. Sabre has not, let me repeat for those 5th graders, Sabre has not reached the cost savings that are projected as many of the employees who were part of the action are still being paid severance. Some will continue to receive payments the remainder of the year.

It's ridiculous that 32% is a dollar. But only Director+ has received stock grants since 2020. Enjoy.

I am glad they only had to lay off 1100 people and make their life miserable so the stock price went up 32%. People who worked there over a decade were told on Monday that Tuesday is their last day. It's great leadership
