Today I handed my resignation to my manager. I got a way better offer from Micron.
My manager told me if there was anything he could do to have me staying but I don't think they can 2X my salary.

Congratulations to OP as Micron does pay better overall. That being said, the grass is not all greener on the other side. I know a few people at Micron who are not happy there. There a quite a bit of managers that hard to work with there.
But everything else being equal, 200k RSU is a good chunk of money if they are still offering that kind of money.
There are not so many people going from WD to micron in a week. The Micron people might look at this site as well. Are you not nervous posting on this site.I would just send my LinkedIn message thanking for your time at WD and looking forward to Micron. Never hurts to say thank you.

You'd be surprised, I got a counter offer when submitting my resignation for 70k additional base bringing it to 230k, but I still left. If they thought I was that valuable they could have helped me close the gap years ago... Rather take a slightly less 200k salary some where else. Additionally, they would just keep me till the knowledge transfer was finished then lay me off. Jokes on them, the knowledge walked away...
