You need to take ownership of your career. 15 years and still on $85k means you’re either not performing, or you’re not asking enough. You need to speak up or go somewhere else.

This isn’t just Schwab, this is true of anywhere. You make the big leaps in comp by moving around.
Digital Services - Senior Mgr 58, $130K base 15% bonus, Austin
Wow! No wonder managers (even lower level) have targets on their backs for the layoff. Those are higher salaries than I thought for those levels.
I agree with the number of years comment. I have been at Schwab for years and make less than everyone on my team. Schwab has always messed with the older folks.
Senior Team Mgr 59, austin, $167K, 15% bonus
St Mgr PL: $195,000, 15% bonus
Lesson here is, it sounds great to be a MD :). $500K potential.

I am sad. 15+yrs, mgr, not PL, 85k + bonuses.
After all these years my raises never out performed the increases in benefits. Net pay has been about the same for 10 years.

20 years of experience in my field - not specifically the financial sector
Managing Director w/15+ years. $335k base + $160k variable (bonus + stock)
STS Sr manager (58,not PL) $180 base in Austin , 5+ years here
Director; 13 years at Schwab. 220k salary + 25% bonus
Manager, non senior. 15 YoE
160+15bonus
Sr Manager, hired 5 years ago… mostly tech. $155K base, 20% bonus (because I came from TDA). I have 15 years experience total.
Senior specialist on pinnacle two years here at Schwab in Westlake office total comp is 71
You can’t compare by titles alone because salaries differ in job function and orgs and geography. Longterm employees are paid less than newer employees who were hired when the job market was hot during the pandemic
