We need low cost management and employees to run GF. Non technical work force that support likes of Walmart should suffice to run GF as it is no longer growth company. Just need hourly workers with routine work mindset to run the show. Company is winding down and will continue to shrink as most of the world moves to single digit technology. Feature rich technology BS is not applicable as rest of the big brothers in industry are miles ahead.

Life as a tiny chip fab is tough, given how expensive it is to operate and constantly update manufacturing lines for never-ending semiconductor design innovation. GF by philosophy of growth is dead. With no future in sight, it is trivial that talent will leave as soon as their is opportunity for them. GF does not need rocket scientists anymore as it is old, mature and outdated fab.

GF is a sinking ship, jump off while you can, otherwise drown in the water!!

"Chips act won’t be used to support these actions"
Are you sure?
I have doubts as to what side Congress is on.
It sure does not seem like to be on the side of the American middle class citizen.
Also members of Congress appear to have an unusually high net worth.
Did they each invent something that I am not aware of?

GF should invest in finding a new CEO and SLT team overseas. Much much cheaper than this bunch of greedy lazy incompetent mo--ns and Fraction of the cost

"GF looking to expand anywhere but the US.. And they got their hand out."
Flush research down the toilette and make known objects very very very cheaply.
This is starting to be painfully obvious to be very similar to plantations in the old South with slightly better pay. Onlthe plus side any id--t should be able to run a plantation, so we should fire upper management and replace them with low cost employees.
