If MPC can get 80% of the uptime at 60% of the cost they will outsource as much as possible. IT groups will get thinner and thinner.
First it’s the IT contractors next it’ll be the support staff. Read the writing on the wall. MPC does this every couple of years. Q4 is coming, so are the layoffs. READ. THE. WRITING. ON. THE. WALL. Don’t listen to the lying managers. Read it!
HCL will be replacing most IT contractors and attempting to take over support work and smaller projects.
