I was a LOYAL anniversary sale shopper, when the sale meant something. Since about 2008, whatever I buy in July is on sale in August/Sept. Now, I wait until the discount is better than anniversary sale. Also, the sale merchandise is boring. They quit selling Johnny was even…and shoes- John Fluevog online is my go to.

Had the SF store been updated? I worked in the flagship store in 1990. The escalator design was terrible and not designed for security or safety. Back in 1990, it was not safe to walk around the store. The issues are not safety..the issues plaguing Nordstrom are the same for all department stores. No one wants to lug shopping on rapid transit or drive into the city to go shopping. Have you seen the book, abandoned malls?
Chapter 11 here they come
It is a shame that they were not fully repatriated after the war. They have no place in our civilization, and no capacity to create their own. Listen to the audio, the woman, initially shocked, wants to snag a free purse. I’m sorry but Nordstrom will not survive the turmoil ahead. It was made for better people in gentler times. You must protect yourself and your own without hesitation or mercy.

So how did Anniversary go? Is it still managed as a big deal in tech, with a PM dedicated to it each year? I lost interest when it became so lopsided to “pre-sales” before the event.
Wild, the attack on store 001 in late July, trying to loot the Chanel department. I can’t imagine how busy LP is these days in that store. After the closing of the SF fls, anything is possible, even the unthinkable.
