I am still safe, but I wonder if after everything I will even want to work in a company where I no longer have any faith in the leadership...
I know I am not the only one with such thinking...

The guy on this website who keeps saying “I posted on here a while back saying this was gonna happen” is hilarious. Reality is, every so often there would be someone on here (probably this person) saying that layoffs were coming. The funny thing about constantly saying something is that eventually is it’s probably gonna happen. It’s kinda like me telling people it’s gonna snow next week and then when it doesn’t I continue telling them it’s gonna snow next week. Eventually it’s gonna snow and I’ll be like “see, I told ya”. The reality is nobody knew this was coming.

@tla+1nSFXts1 How many people do you actually think spend time on this website before layoffs are announced? Myself and everyone on my team only learned about this website this past week. Maybe you should have warned us on teams or with an anonymous note in a bathroom instead
OP, The folks at Enron, MCI/Worldcom and Madoff's asset management company all felt safe. Enough said.
They're keeping the tower side in suspense for weeks and then they offered the severance to everyone including fiber and small cell. The network side jumped on it and now the EMT is pulling the offer from most network people....and the stock is taking a dive. Get out with the money if you can.

The EMT stinks and acts pretty brainless. But honestly I think the director/voice caste level is even worse. I doubt the reality of life for IC’s ever makes its way through to those empty suits up to the EMT.

@caa+1nSFXts1, taking the EMTs word is your fault. I’ve was on here telling everybody that these layoffs were coming based on intel provided by a mid level manager who overheard the conversations about cuts. I immediately found myself another job. Not all of you guys who didn’t listen are left scrambling trying to pick up the crumbs of the jobs left over that guy like me passed on. You should’ve listened instead of downvoting my posts.

I was fooled. I actualy took the EMT for there word. I just thought they where clueless on how things funneled down to the everyday in the trenches folks. but in reality all the care about is $$ I just wish they where more up front..
