Sabre and those who run it don't give a damn about anything other than the bottom line. If you think you matter, you're not very smart. They care whether and how much they get paid. They couldn't care less whether you get a raise or get laid off. Accept that now, provide the minimum amount of work, and you'll be much happier.

Wow, so enlightening. Sabre and literally every other corporation on the planet.
No, do your job and do it as well as you can and when you switch off your laptop at the end of the day, be proud of what you achieved. If it doesnt work out in the long term, then do something else but whatever you do, do it well.
Losing mentality. You want free pay?

Are you so desperate to stay in this company and do the minimal work? With minimal work you still contribute to the bonuses the executives get, plus you will end up to an age where it would be difficult to find something else. Instead of wasting your time there, you should find something else and leave. The grass is greener on the other side, regardless what they tell you. Unless you are lazy and it works for you, then stay until they tell you bye bye. Most probably the next layoffs will not have any compensations since the money are already burned.
Amen, it’s always been that way as long as your viewed as an asset during the moment. Once your a liability that is out of favor with your management chain it’s a hard life from there on out unless you can get transferred around. But you always have that black check mark around your neck. Cannot take it personal because most all organizations have this mentality now..
