Is there really no layoff packages this round?
There is no need for a layoff, the attrition is so high it is taking care of the numbers without having to offer layoff packages. The execs have the morale so bad around here people are leaving on their own. Promos with 0% raises what a joke!!

GF has all reasons to go outsource to cheap locations to have cost pressure alleviation while running mature tech. There is no advance node in plan so running more and cheaper will not require talent. Simple high school grads will be able to do the job. Probably good place for rejects, incompetent ones and those who can not find job elsewhere.
