I am SMTS, got just 2% hike. I submitted around 40 to 45 changes in vpxd last cycle. Worked long hours and so could not brush up leetcode. I Completed all jira on time. But based on hike and 95% bonus I think I am on chopping block. With just 2 months time left before acquisition becoming nervous.

I quietly quit some time ago. I have a device that moves my mouse. I use ChatGPT to get 90% of my work done. I developed a voice synthesizer that conjunctioning with ChatGPT allows me to skip most meetings. Took awhile to perfect it. I work 2 other jobs remotely as well using the same setup. I have vacationed for 4 months this year and even used my StarLink in a remote forest for a few days on a bender to live off the grid. Cool beans is I stay or leave here. I’ve contributed next to nothing while using tech to live the DEI dream. The best part of my gig is most would be shocked to know I get more done than most with almost nothing and got a nice little raise that I attribute to the rise of my middle finger after 20+ years of accepting leftist ideology from woke HR. Tan knows the incompetence DEI brings and let’s face it- most of the producers have already left for greener pastures. I am here.
2% hike? Your fu---d.
The bonus for worker bees was capped at 3% this cycle.
I heard from Mgr that the avg pay raise is 3%.
Relax hombre, it could be down to where you are on the pay scale. If you are high, the guidance in this cycle is to try and achieve parity in the team, therefore you may receive less even if you’re a high performer.
The lower bonus does suggest you’re a bit sh1t though.
Being on the initial list might not necessarily be a bad thing. You could find something better so don’t despair. Just prepare now.
See the other thread where they got a 3% raise and was told it's because they were so valuable.
Very likely. I got 90% bonus and 2% hike and I know that my management dislikes me for speaking the truth and resisting the false narrative. Might be first in that list 😊
