In Malta a group of 300 employees are planning a walkout at 10am. We will simply stop our duties and head to the entrance gate and begin our strike. This has gone to far and it's time to take a stand.

Very successful walk out. To the untrained eye it merely appeared to be lunch time walkers. Onward team.
Come on! Where were the people who were walking out? You guys are no fun!
Online drama queens…
Current GF employees are too afraid to take a stand. They are complacent. TC continues to walk over them while bleeding the company.. Sad
Waited outside for others to join but no one showed.
So uh...how goes this "strike", lol?
That is a common manager lie. It’s really no raise because your manager didn’t do a proper job managing and getting allocations. It is your management chain inept managing skills…. Not market conditions. These managers really have no idea what they are doing and just winging it and unfortunately you get the short end of the stick
Are you “supper happy?” I have to admit, dinner is good.
You aren’t fooling anyone. You make up half the posts, most of the upvotes, multiple times, and are stuck at GF, but you can’t leave because the pay is better than Stewart’s.
Night Cretin.
@ysg+1nOkf4qF let me reiterate what I said since you seem to think everything is about you. I said "maybe half of you" implying I'm speaking to the minority of the disgruntled employees here. I'm assuming that since you just earned a promotion, you're not in that minority. If your manager's explanation for no raise was "market conditions" then I'm sorry, your manager sux. I'd be willing to bet you ignored what they actually told you, though, much like you ignored what I actually wrote in my last comment. If you didn't get a raise, the reason was because you already make X% more money than X% of your peers in your job level. I do not know what the percentages are but I know they're high based on the fact that VERY few employees went without raises. Is it fair? Heavens no. But, one could argue it's also not fair that you out-earn your peers so much that the powers that be decided you'd be just fine without a raise. You'll have to look within for motivation to keep putting forth an effort - I cannot help you work through your dismay. I do know you won't find the answer you seek throwing a pity party on layoff.com.
@htx+1nOkf4qF I got promoted this last go-round, but they couldn't afford to give me a raise with it because of "marker conditions". How am I supposed to work passed that? Please explain. Thank you.
Former Malta employee here. Surprised but not surprised that the employees are still miserable. It’s almost comical looking back and seeing the posts here. Looks like it may have actually got worse. GF employees are like battered spouses. You all need to leave, but are either are afraid or don’t now how.. SMH
I feel like if half of you spent half the time you spend on this site bi*ching about the company, and spent it refocui that energy into quality hard work & earning promotions (and I mean actually earning them, not just doing your job as your're expected to do), you'd be much happier in life. If this offends you then I'm talking to you. But go ahead and downvote and stay bitter while doing nothing to fix your own problems and instead blaming them all on your employer.
Great idea. I resigned from GF about this time last year for the same reasons you are walking out about. I am supper happy with my new jobs. Wishing you all the best
P.s. the first two comments from GF a-s licking troll is best ignored
GF would love that. Half wonder if OP is GFHR hoping to cut down on the amount of unemployment claims they’ll get in the next round of layoffs.
Organizing would have helped years ago. Trying to start now, as GFES is already up and running/expanding? Too little too late.
Malta hasn’t had full offices since 2018’s pivot, and those cubicles are going to get sparser and sparser.
Good … less 300 employees …
Yeah, right. That'll happen
I guess we will find out who is actually necessary - the workers who have skills and experience doing the work or the overpaid parasites on top who cannot produce anything. Even if they are replaced, it will be another black mark on the company which anyone can look up on the internet.
Lol. Seeing the company and its employees that laid me off in March spiral into chaos and despair, makes my heart happy. Getting laid off was ultimately a blessing. I will continue to watch and smile as GF fails.
You are at will employees and non-union so feel free to walk out. You may not be walking back in.
It’ll be funny when those that walk out won’t be allowed back in and get pink slips, especially with another round of layoffs being projected.
Ciao!
