Thread regarding GlobalFoundries layoffs

Reasons why you think GF will continue to sink?

I wish I was more optimistic, but it doesn't seem to me that GF has any clear strategy for the future. I think if you were to ask the employees what they think about the future of this place, the answers would be overwhelmingly dismal.

I think you’re right. Though, it is usually the securities professionals (private equity) and other stake-holding groups in positions of shareholder advisal, that determine whether GF has an advantageous strategy or not.
Skilled Employees are pawn in the game of investors.
Skilled workers should shuffle where they are the happiest- whatever company that may be.
Where you work comes down to your own set of values, and what you believe /see the values of the company you work for, are.
Taking into account recent geopolitical issues and govt investments, GF is certainly not a bad place to be investing your time, imo.

Agree with OP. I do not see any one planning to stay in GF unless they have personal reason. Everyone is looking for job outside.

Better sell . Using the 2 Stage Free Cash Flow to Equity, GLOBALFOUNDRIES fair value estimate is US$48.59
