Which insurance to buy after Layoff

Need to buy one from coveredca, but with the package this year’s income is too high for Subsides, anyone have experience which is the best choice? Not a regular doc visit but has kid

note that life insurance doesn't cover jumping off tall qcom buildings. but people have gotten a free trip to their home country for the rest of their family

I decided to go with COBRA, seemed the most affordable for me and kids only.
other were too expensive, and the coverage we had was good, and it let's you keep HSA for pre tax deductions. Kids can add a lot of random expenses, so HSA is a must. If you are fairly healthy it should be fine.

Now that I'm out of QCOM my health has improved tremendously, go figure.

If you have a hefty package then just go with Cobra. Or you can wing it without insurance.
