How's the return to office for you all?
I have seen more people in my office, but still not full. Some days my office looks like a ghost town. I fear a stronger mandate for RTO will come soon.

Lol End Stage Capitalism: where a “private” cube is a positive thing.
Look at the positive side of 5 days onsite, You get your own private cube, not some dirty hotel cube. Just saying
At the San Antonio office, we were required to go back full time, no questions asked. They've even put legacy WFH employees on watch. Monitors, docks, and other work from home equipment was returned, and destroyed to my understanding, further cementing the draining commutes.
To my understanding, corporate only required us to go in three days out of the week, but Jeff Brown decided that stripping us away from our happiness was necessary to make profit, so a bone wasn't even thrown at us. Not even those who proved we can continue to work hard at home during the pandemic.
Everyone is....making the best of it. There are always try hards, and people willing to put in the extra work, pretending that they're not replaceable. And I will admit, there were some people that did take advantage of the fact that we were working at home unmonitored for like 2 and a half years until the company licensed expensive spyware. Guess it was just easier to just punish everyone instead of weeding out the worst offenders. A true sign of leadership.
How not to run a business-
Have leaders focused on who swiped their badge and who did not.
What will happen to the people who don’t swipe in? Will they go on a pip? Be terminated after x days not swiping into the office?
On our campus, scanning someone else badge is "instant termination" no questions asked.
Don't want to come in an badge as required, well that's on you.
Best of future luck at MDT.
Who cares about RTO. We have been operating under this for what almost 3 yrs? Organic NPI is almost at stand still, acquisitions only thing moving at our OU. I believe this is what management wants. Acquisitions are an immediate asset on the books, Organic R&D is an expense. New GOSC , OU organization may be viable for Sustaining current products for New products a nd Market windows it is not especially with spending freezes 2 quarters out of every year, JMO. As well as new hiring practices are mandated % DEI hires qualified or not qualified
Let's bring back the college lecture days with the clickers to answer questions.... Everyone send your badge with a friend to scan lol
To the person who says: So annoying to have to swipe in 3x a week only to go back home to work. Oh well! You are an id--t and to bad it wasn't you who got let go! Hope you get fired with no severance pay!
Badges are linked to Workday. Reminder to check your profile, see Job tab it lists your Hybrid Work Model if your confused if your supposed to go in to the office 3 days a weeks

So far they do not track when you leave. Only when you swipe in to ensure you are coming to the site your minimum allowed number of days per week.
Big Brother is watching….
Do/how they track when you leave?
Seeing that groups received this message this week I anticipate more people coming into office:
Our leadership team has been identified to participate in the pilot to test the new U.S. HWM dashboard. Director level and above will have access to the dashboard and will share/cascade the data to the managers.
