Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

I'm going to leave this here for no particular reason

One manufacturing giant has avoided layoffs for 70 years and still earns billions

Is it possible for a company to avoid layoffs for more than half a century and still be competitive? The answer is yes.

What about the newer bunch of unskilled ops leaders and engineers. They are about as smart as the new wave of hires. I herd most of them failed the dr-g test and back ground. And look at all the T’s who complains but gladly came back. This place is like a 3 ring circus these day. I have never seen such destruction of a union shop with no guts. People turn people in all day and complain about jobs they get to do. Only a couple more years to go for me and I get my nice pension.

problem with this idea is that GE has hired so many unqualified T rates and loser engineers that they need to lay off often
